Opening Hours Guidelines

Standard Hours -

Monday 9am - 7.30pm ( Bank hols 9am - 12pm)

Tuesday 9am - 7.30pm

Wednesday 9am - 7.30pm

Thursday 9am - 1pm

Friday 9am - 1pm

Saturdays 9am - 12pm

Overflow/ Out of hours / Personal hours when busy - **More likey to get rejected if you are rescheduling from a normal slot**

  • Private home-based studio in Redditch

  • Address provided in confirmation message / Emails/ Text Reminder / Push Notification / Google & All social media automations.

  • We are on google maps

  • The Studio is not in the house. There is a purpose built entrance on the left of 147

  • There is a sign above the gate. You will be reassured you have found the right house.

  • Please don’t arrive early I do not have a waiting room so I will not be ready or expecting anyone until the time confirmed on Booksy. All prep time is accounted for in your booking so the time arranged is perfect.

  • No walk-ins - Appointment only

  • If you are local.. We are by the Masala Club!

PARKING-

  • All along the Birchfield Road / Rectory Road , Charles Street there is free roadside parking

  • Masala Club Carpark is open on the evenings

  • There is parking next to the little shop

  • There is the Rocklands Carpark

  • The Co Op Carpark

  • There is a carpark behind at 37 Birchfield Road - Behind Essance of Bengal

  • Kindly do not park across the driveway. It is in constant use. It is not just me that needs accsess

  • 147 & 149 are semi detached. I often get clients mistake the driveway being a part of the house.. 147 is on the far left through the black gate. The driveway is unavailable. Especially on the right of the Black parked car.

  • Driveways are concealed on the road so parking across the pavement will obstruct neighbors , Pushchairs , Wheelchairs and slow traffic. Parking on the pavement is unavailable as it does cause problems for others

  • Booking

  • All bookings via Booksy only: slaystudioredditch.booksy.com/a

  • I am unable book people manually as a booking fee is required. This is a much quicker process than having to back and forth with me.

  • Additional information is required to book - Full name , Mobile number & email

  • If you have booked an injectable or invasive treatment your email will be used to send out your Medical form & consultation form

  • Both forms sent via email from FACES CONSENT will be needed to forward to the prescriber & pharmacy in order to get your booking approved.

  • Availability is live on the app. If someone cancels it will show you the space instantly

  • Prices & Offers are live on Booksy

  • A deposit will not be taken until both of us have agreed the time.

  • Bookings are manually accepted. I will do this as soon as i can. Some days i don’t have time for a break but i will always be doing it as soon as possible.

  • Bookings must be in your own name early for insurances purposes.

  • I cannot perform treatments on people booked on the behalf of your Booksy account. I must know who the client is and the must sign all the forms in their own name.

  • You do not need a Booksy Account to see availability

  • I have a salon whatsapp number on my iPad but i do not have a phone that accepts calls.

  • Appointments must be confirmed to be secured. Please check you have had a confirmed appointment

  • Appointments when confirmed will be on the 1st page on the app , You will get a confirmation email & reminder email/ text 24 hours before

Rescheduling & Cancellation POLICY

  • Minimum 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel

  • Under 48 hours to move an appointment is still a cancellation. Booksy will only show the CANCEL button

  • If you are within the policy you can press the CHANGE button when you log in to when suits you.

  • If you need to move your appointment but you dont'β€˜t know when you can get back to us again. Message us and i will change the booking to a β€œdeposit paid” service and i will move it into the future on a closed date eg - xmas day so that it does not block other bookings. You do not need to ACCEPT this offered time. Just press CHANGE when you know you are available again.

  • We save booking fee’s tagged to bookings for 3 months After 3 months a new booking is required.

  • Booking fee’s are to discourage moving appointments within 48 hours. The Booking fee does not cover the service or the wasted unbooked time.

  • We shuffle appointments back to back within 48 hours ouf of the reschedule window so if you need to move last minute we will be unable to fill that slot that has been held for you last minute and we may be required to request kindly to move other clients around again.

  • Late cancellations can be cancelled online. To rebook - On booksy as normal as a new appointment.

  • No-shows = 100% of the service price to rebook.

  • Repeated no-shows or last minute cancellations = blocked from future bookings. We work really really long hours and we appreciate every moment of free time possible. No shows waste our time we have set aside for you and further waste for the time we sit around waiting just in case. Not to mention the fact we lose wages we have accounted for in our working day. I am incredibly understanding and forgiving however intentional or frequent no shows / moving appointmemts etc will be removed from the database.

what is an appointment request? why has my time request changed?

  • Firstly - Do not press ACCEPT if the time does not suit you. It will not take your booking fee until we both confirm the time.

  • Booksy is a fantastic app! Its does help keep us running efficiently. However it is not perfect. It will offer random appointment times that are not suitable from our end. Ill break it down here but in the meantime here is what to do…

  • Secondly - Appointments after 5pm will be re -offered the next available time shown.

  • For example we are happy to open very long hours during busy periods .. 9am - 9pm Monday - Wednesday & then 9am - 3/4pm Thursday Friday & Saturday

  • When we get an appointment request we know that 90% of our appointments will either be 1.5 hour long or 1 hour long

  • If you have a small appointment such as a patch test / brow wax / small time slot & booksy lets you pick a slot in the middle of the 1st & last showing slot. It will block other bookings that generally need 1.5 hour or 1 hour time slot to be able to book.

  • In this instance i will not press accept/ take fee but i will offer an alternative time for you to either confirm of decline. If you are struggling to take the 1st slot or last slot drop me a message and ill see if there is anything i can do.

  • Once i am fully booked for the week - All appointments have filled Mon - Wed 9am - 7.30pm and then Thurs - Sat 9am - 12pm I then open up additional 1.5 hour slots from 7.30pm - 9pm & then Weekend 12pm - 4pm. I cannot accept bookings moving from opening hours to out of hours leaving the gaps and extending the working day. In this instance i will request for it to be returned to the initial appointments we confirmed.

  • No children allowed in the studio

  • There are large dogs at the property so no children to wait outside the cabin

  • This is a quiet, adult-only relaxing space, We are unable to accommodate others or joint bookings

  • I don’t have a waiting area at all for additional people nor space for them to hover over

  • Not a child friendly salon - Injectables, Sterile , Dangerous products

  • My insurance covers you & I

i’m early - what shall i do?- What is salon etiquette

Come through the gate at your confimed time- We will be ready unless we have text to say how many minutes we have fallen behind.

DO Come through the gate even if someone is stood chatting - they probably are waiting for someone to come before they go.

  • If you have arrived early there is a shop over the road to have a mooch in the meantime while we prepare for your appointment time.

  • Kindly wait in the car until the time booked

    Im here but I think someone is still in the room - If you haven’t text to say Jenna is ruuning behind come through the gate we will be a matter of moments.

  • Im stood behind the gate where you cant see me? Please do come through if its your time slot.. DO make yourself known in case someone is chatting because they think you are not here yet.

  • If the gate is locked don’t worry we will be open on time or if we haven’t reached out to say there is a problem the chances are we are rushing back to the studio from tending to the dogs.

  • I will be either with a client still as i book back to back until your booked time

  • I might not be open yet if it before the time we confirmed.

  • The gate is open but no one is there? Don’t worry i might have nipped out on a scheduled 2 minute break. We will be back at the time we are expecting you

  • The cabin is empty? If you a a tad early we may be on a 1 minute - 15 minute break and ill rushing to get what we need done as the chamces are its the only small window of time we kept clear for the 12 hour day. Dont worry we will be back on time. It might be more comfortable to wait in your car until then.

  • You can chat , Bring headphones or have a lash nap! Its your appointment. Do what feels right for you!

  • Get comfy! ( Heads up! Hoodies , Hair buns and claw clips are not our friend when it comes to lying flat comfortably

  • We have heating & air con and try to keep the cabin a good temperature. We shoud’nt need to cancel your appointment due to weather.

  • Please don’t bring guests with you , We do not have any space or waiting room
